When we met the authors Andrea and Antonella Ferrari , they were collecting the last images and data in the Raja Ampat for their new guide book. We were fascinated by the aim of this new book: to encompass the world’s species in one guide, in order to streamline the task for travelling divers. During our dives we watched them take some of the photographs which are now printed in this book, and in our animated discussions afterwards, their exceptional knowledge and talent became evident.
We could hardly wait to see the results. Like most other travelling divers, we have a collection of guide books specific to an area of the diving world. In this day and age where our luggage needs to be streamlined, we welcome this book with open arms!
